The Grace Point Story
About our family
In February of 2004 a small group of people gathered on a Wednesday night for a Bible study. In the following weeks the crowd grew to over 75 people, leading someone to ask; "When are we going to meet on Sunday?" The rest, as they say, is history. The story of The Church At Grace Point is truly a miracle story. God used 14 people on a Wednesday night prayer meeting to transform the hearts of a group of people that now numbers more than 475.
From the beginning God gave a common vision to our people. That vision was to attempt to make a difference not for a church or denomination, but instead for the Kingdom of God. This has led our church to be called "A different kind of church". Truth being told, we are a different kind of church. Our structure is different, our building is different, our worship services are different and our passion is different. We have one unified goal, to see the Lord lifted high and glorified. As we like to say, "It's not about us, it's all about Him".
In many ways The Church At Grace Point is the realization of a life-long dream of our pastor Phil Griffin and his wife Tracy. For many years they have prayed that the Lord would allow them to see the marriage of two very powerful components, 1) Sound Biblical preaching 2) Praise oriented music. In its simplest form, this is a perfect description of our church. The combining of sound Biblical preaching with Christ centered praise and worship music. With these two components as our bedrock we have a common vision to: 1) Look Above In Worship 2) Look Around In Witness 3) Look Ahead In Wisdom 4) Look After In Welcome.
